VIVO X50 Series:- Smartphone production company Vivo has been very successful in keeping full control over the Android market by launching its great technology gadget at a cheap price for its users. Along with this, Vivo has been launching its new devices at regular intervals to maintain its competitiveness in the market. Now the company has launched its another budget range Vivo X50 series in the Chinese market. Under this series, the company has launched Vivo X50, Vivo X50 Pro, and Vivo X50 Pro+ devices.

The special thing about this series is that the company has been provided a Gimbal camera technology image stabilization feature in all devices of this series. Specifications of Vivo X50 & X50 Pro:-

If to talk about the specifications of these devices, then the company has given a 6.56-inch Full HD + display in the Vivo X50 and X50 Pro devices. Apart from this, both devices have a punch-hole AMOLED display panel, which is equipped with a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+ feature. The Vivo X50 comes with a flat display panel, while the Vivo X50 Pro comes with a curved display panel. The Vivo X50 measures 159.54 mm x 75.39 mm x 7.49 mm and weighs 170 grams. While for the X50 Pro it is 158.46 mm x 72.8 mm x 8.04 mm and 181.5 grams in weight. Both devices have 5G connectivity and dual-sim support. For security, both devices have an in-display fingerprint scanner.

For speed and multitasking, the Vivo X50 and X50 Pro are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset processor, which helps boost the device's performance. As for the software, both devices run on the Funtouch OS 10.5 ROM based on the latest version Android 10.


In terms of RAM and storage, the company has launched these devices in two storage options in China. Vivo X50 comes with 8 + 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM support and 128 + 256 GB UFS 2.0 storage support. While Vivo X50 Pro comes with 8 + 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 + 256 GB UFS 2.1 storage support.

The camera of Vivo X50 & X50 Pro:-

To capture images in the device, the company has given quad rear camera setup in the back panel in both the devices, the X50 Pro device is equipped with gimbal camera technology, while the X50 lacks gimbal technology for photography. The Vivo X50 camera setup includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 custom sensor camera with f / 1.6 aperture, which is equipped with the Four-Axis OIS feature. Also in the setup is a 13-megapixel portrait camera with f / 2.48 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f / 2.2 aperture, a 5-megapixel macro camera with f / 2.48 aperture and 120 FoV. While the Vivo X50 has a 32-megapixel front camera with f / 2.48 aperture for selfie and video calling.

On the other hand, the Vivo X50 Pro camera setup includes a 48 megapixel Sony IMX598 sensor camera with f / 1.6 aperture and the device is equipped with the Gimbal OIS feature. In addition, it has a 13-megapixel portrait camera with f / 2.46 aperture, an 8-megapixel periscope camera with f / 3.4 aperture, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f / 2.2 aperture. While it has a 32-megapixel front camera with f / 2.45 aperture for selfie and video calling.



The battery of Vivo X50 & X50 Pro:-

For long-life battery backup, the Vivo X50 has a 4200mAh battery with a 33-watt fast charging feature, while the X50 Pro has a 4315mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging feature. In terms of connectivity, both devices have given features such as  5G, NFC, WIFI 6, Bluetooth 5.1, SA & NSA, dual-mode, fingerprint scanners. While the X50 Pro has an additional feature like AK4377A Hi-Fi Sound Chip for music.

Specifications of Vivo X50 Pro +:-

Vivo X50 Pro + comes with a 6.56-inch full HD + display. It has a curved display panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, it also uses a single punch-hole display that supports the HDR 10+ feature. The Vivo X50 Pro + measures 158.46 mm x 72.8 mm x 8.04 mm in dimensions and 181.5 grams in weight. In terms of security, it has given an in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature.

In terms of good performance, this device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 advanced chipset processor and it runs on the latest version Android 10 based FunTouch OS 10.5 ROM.

The company has launched it in three variant options, the first comes with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage options, the second comes with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, and the third comes with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage options. The company has provided LPDDR4X support for RAM and UFS 2.1 support for storage.

For photography, this device also has given quad rear camera setup to the back panel including a 50 megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GN1 sensor with f/1.6 aperture, which is equipped with the Gimbal OIS feature. It has a 13-megapixel portrait camera with f/2.46 aperture, an 8-megapixel periscope camera with f/3.4 aperture, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. For selfie and video calling, it has a 32-megapixel front camera with f/2.45 aperture.

For long-life battery backup, this device has a 4315mAh power of battery with a 44-watt fast charging facility. In terms of connectivity, it is equipped with features such as 5G, NFC, WIFI 6, Bluetooth, SA & NSA dual-mode, fingerprint scanner, and CS4313 Hi-Fi sound chip.

Price of Vivo X50 Pro:

  • 8GB + 128GB: CNY 4298 (~$602/₹45,500)

Price of Vivo X50 Pro+:

  • 8GB + 128GB: CNY 4998 (~$700/₹53,000)

However, the company has only launched in China. And all these devices of Vivo X50 series will soon be made available in the international market including India. The company itself has confirmed this through its official Twitter account.
