OnePlus:- Smartphone production company OnePlus has finally launched another new flagship premium phone OnePlus 8T 5G of its Oneplus 8 series globally including India today via an online event, which now joins the other phones of the company's Oneplus 8 portfolio. However, the Oneplus 8T phone is the successor of the Oneplus 8 phone that was launched earlier of this year. The OnePlus 8T comes with some improvements and advanced hardware features compared to the regular OnePlus 8 phone.
The highlights of the OnePlus 8T include a punch-hole cut-out display, Quad rear camera setup, 5G connectivity support, a 16MP selfie camera, a 120Hz display rate, and a 4,500mAh power of battery with 65W fast charging support. This phone comes in two distinct storage variants and it will go for sale starting 17 October in India. The OnePlus 8T features a 6.5-inch full HD + fluid AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, which has a 120Hz refresh rate, 20: 9 aspect ratio, 402 PPI pixel density, and 86.98% screen-to-body ratio. It also has a punch-hole cutout display for the selfie, which is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass Protection.
In terms of speed and performance, this device is powered by an octa-core Kryo 2.84 GHz processor and is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset that comes with an Adreno 650 GPU for graphics. As for the software, this device runs on the latest version Android 10 based Oxygen OS ROM and is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS3.1 onboard storage options. OnePlus 8T has been made available in India in two different variant options like 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option, while it does not have storage expansion support.

For optics, this device is equipped with a quad rear camera setup on the back panel that includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary camera with an f / 1.7 lens that supports phase detection auto-focus (PDAF) and optical image stabilization (OIS). In addition, the setup includes a 16-megapixel Sony IMX481 ultra-wide-angle camera with an f / 2.2 lens, a 5-megapixel macro camera with an f / 2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel depth camera with an f / 2.4 lens.

In terms of connectivity, it has a 5G, 4G, LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, Glonass, and USB Type-C port. At the same time, the second variant comes with a 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage option at a price of Rs 45,999 in the Indian market, which is available in the only Aquamarine Green color option.
The official sale of this device has been started in India from October 17, which is now available for purchase through Amazon India, OnePlus website, and other hosted online as well as offline stores.
