Smartphone production company Motorola has made a comeback in the market by launching its Motorola Edge series globally. The Motorola Edge series had been in discussion for a long time and finally, the company launched it on 22 April. Under this series, the company has introduced two of its new flagship phones, the Motorola Edge and the Motorola Edge Plus devices. Although the company has launched it through an online event, many leaks have been revealed about the Edge series even before its launch. The special feature in this series is that the company has provided a punch-hole display in both phones of this series with a curved design. Also, dual-stereo speakers are provided on these phones. MOTOROLA EDGE

Specifications of Motorola Edge:-

Motorola edge has given a 6.7 inch full HD Plus AMOLED curved edge display with a 2340x1080 pixel resolution that has a 90Hz refresh rate with a 21:9 aspect ratio for display.  Company has given dual sim connectivity features in it. For speed and multitasking, this device is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor chipset with Adreno 620 GPU, which helps to increase the performance of the device, and it runs on the latest version Android 10. For photography, this device has given three rear cameras to its back panel, including 64-megapixel primary camera with 0.8 pixels size, 8 megapixels of telephoto sensor with 2x high-res optical zoom, 16 megapixels of ultra-wide camera, which offer 117-degree-field-of-view. Along with this, the "time of flight sensor" has provided to the back panel. For selfie, a 25 megapixel of camera given to its front with Quad pixel technology.

The company has launched Motorola Edge with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, which is expandable through micro SD card up to 1 TB of storage. For the long life battery of the phone, the company has given a 4,500 mAh power of battery with 18W fast charging support. There is no wireless and reverse charging support on this phone. For security, it has an optical-display fingerprint sensor. For connectivity, it has features such as 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, GPS, AGPS, LTEPP, SUPL, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou. If to talk about the sensor provided in it, then accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, ambient light, sensor hub, and barometer sensor are the sensor provided in it.

Price of Motorola Edge:-

If to talk about the price of Motorola edge then, it's priced at EUR 699 in Europe (roughly INR 58,000 ), and it will available in two color options like Solar Black and Midnight Magenta. However, the company has not provided the exact sale date for Motorola Edge, but it is expected to be available Motorola Edge in May. According to the company, Motorola Edge will be released in Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific only.

 If to talk about the camera setup for photography in Motorola edge plus, then it has packed with three rear camera setups, including a 108-megapixel main primary sensor with OIS, an 8 megapixel of telephoto sensor with OIS support and provide 3x high-res optical zoom, and a 16 megapixel of the ultra-wide sensor. Its main camera is capable of recording 6K videos at 30 fps. Company has also provided a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor in it. while to its front, the company has provided 25 megapixels of single-camera for selfie and video calling.

 For the long-life battery of this device, Motorola edge plus is equipped with 5000 mAh of battery that supports 15W fast wired charging, 15W fast wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging features. For its connectivity, it has features like 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax (Wi-Fi 6), GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BDS. For the sensor of this phone, it includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, ambient light, sensor hub, and barometer sensors. For the protection of display it has an optical in-display fingerprint sensor in it.

If to talk about the price of Motorola edge plus then the price has been fixed at $999  in the United States (roughly INR. 76,400). This phone will be available in two color variants like Smoky Sangria and Thunder Grey color. According to the company, Motorola Edge plus will available in various European countries, UAE, US, and Latin America. while the sale for Motorola Edge+ will start from May 14 in the USA via Verizon.
