Facebook has launched a "Collab" short video making app. NPE team of Facebook has announced, this app is available for invite-only beta version IOS users. This new app will bring together to all creates and fans to create, watch, and mix and match their original videos with music. Collab:- Facebook's New Product Experimentation (NPE) team is testing on a new application. This app is actually inspired by the TikTok application and it has been said that this app will give a direct competition to Chinese short music video making app TikTok in the market. The application we are talking about is named "Collab App". However, the company has launched this app only for the beta version. The company currently offering it for an invite-only beta version on the iOS platform. Facebook's NPE team has claimed that using the "collab app", users can create their own original video, watch the video, and mix it with other videos as well. This app provides all the same features that are offered in the TikTok platform. In addition, users can record three different short videos simultaneously using the "collab app" and later edit them to create a single video. Apart from it, users can also share this video directly on the various social platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, and so on. In the future, this app may give a tough competition to TikTok.

How Collab App Works:-

The Collab app provides all the same features, which are provided in the Tiktok application. Using the collab application, users can easily record videos or music and modify it according to their preference. For this, users first have to create an account on the Collab app and later they can use the features provided in the application to create short videos. They can record these videos using pre-existing features like playing guitar, playing drums, singing songs etc. However, users can also sync their videos with the right synergy with other users' existing videos. The company has provided a limitation in the Collab app to create short clips of up to three videos at a time, which users can record and sync simultaneously in landscape mode, and the final video that will be received after modifying these videos will be in vertical mode. Whereas in TikTok, only two video recording limits are provided, which can only be recorded in vertical mode.

The company also said that once creating and publishing videos on the Collab platform, other users would be able to view your video and use it to record duets for their own videos. In addition, after creating a video on Collab, users can share their videos directly from Collab on any other social platform such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter, etc.

Will compete with TikTok:-

However, it is unclear whether creating an account to watch videos on this app is mandatory, or without creating an account, the video can be viewed on it, such as TikTok. However, users can download this beta version app from Facebook's NPE website. the company has released it only for invite-only beta version IOS users.

It is being said that, Facebook wants to compete with TikTok in the market through this app. So far there are over 1000 million users who have downloaded the TikTok app on their device. Recently, the rating of this app on the Google play store was reduced to 1.2 rating. But google subsequently removed all negative review ratings from the Play Store, favoring TikTok. Since then, the rating of TikTok has improved on Google play store, which has now reached 4.4 ratings.
