  • The starting price of Asus ROG Phone 3 in India starts at Rs 49,999 which is for 8GB + 128GB storage variants and it will be available only in black color option. While the first sale for this device in India will begin on August 6 at 12 am IST, and it will be made available for purchase on the Flipkart India website.

 Asus:- Smartphone production company Asus has officially launched Asus ROG Phone 3, the third phone of its ROG series in India, through an online event on Wednesday. The phone has been launched as the latest gaming smartphone, which is specially designed for gamers. Asus ROG Phone 3 is the successor of Asus ROG Phone 2, which was launched in India last year. If seen, the dimension of Asus ROG Phone 3 has similar to most ROG Phone 2 devices, but ROG Phone 3 comes with advanced hardware compared to ROG Phone 2. Asus ROG Phone 3 is the first phone in the world, which comes with the  Snapdragon 865+ processor. It is the latest processor of Qualcomm, which increases performance and graphics speed by up to 10 percent compared to regular speeds.

 Apart from this, it comes with 5G connectivity and a large 6000mAh power of the battery. This gaming smartphone is equipped with clip-on Aeroactive Cooler 3 technology, which has a kickstand and built-in fan to reduce the temperature of the phone up to 4-degree Celsius. Also, this phone has GameCool 3 heat-dispensing technology, AirTrigger 3 ultrasonic button, and has dual speakers at the front. Asus ROG Phone 3 has a 6.59-inch full HD + AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution. The device also comes with a bezel-less display panel that includes a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio, 391 PPI pixel density, 270Hz touch sampling rate, 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR 10+ support. It is one of the few phones that comes with a fast 144Hz screen refresh rate. 

 Apart from this, the device has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection for the display and it comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a face recognition feature. In terms of eye comfort, the device is equipped with flicker reduction technology and low blue light TUV support which protects your eyes from any screen problems.

For performance, this device is powered by a 3.1 GHz clock speed base Kryo octa-core processor and is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 + chipset, which makes this phone very special. In addition, the device has an Adreno 650 GPU for graphics, which increases the performance of the device exponentially. 

 As for the software, this device runs on the latest version Android 10 based ROG custom UI ROM and adds up to 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage. This device comes in two variant options including 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. Whereas it has not been given SDCard storage expansion support to increase the capacity of internal storage.

Camera Features of ROG Phone 3:-

For photography, this device has a triple rear camera setup on the back panel which includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary camera with an f / 1.8 aperture lens. In addition, it has a 13-megapixel secondary camera with an f / 2.4 aperture and 125-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, and the third one comes with a 5-megapixel macro camera with f / 2.0 lens.

 The rear camera setup also features the HyperSteady Video Stabilization Mode and the Pro Video Mode which allows recording 4K and 8K HDR videos at 60fps. On the other hand, it has a 24-megapixel front camera with an f / 2.0 aperture lens for selfie and video calling, which is capable of recording 1080p video.

If to talk about the highlights of the device, then it is equipped with GameCool technology with a heat sink 6 times larger to control the temperature. The device also features noise reduction technology with a quad microphone and has hi-res audio support for better music experience.

While the sensor features include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, compass, and a proximity sensor. Finally, the device measures 171x78x9.85 mm in dimensions and 240 grams in weight.

Price & Availability of ROG Phone 3:-

The company has launched Asus ROG Phone 3 in India in two variants including 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and the price of this variant in India has been fixed at Rs 49,999. While the second variant comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option, which has been priced at Rs 57,999 in India. The company has made this device available only in the black color option. 

 The official sale of this device will start in India on August 6 at 12 am and will be made available for purchase through the e-commerce website Flipkart India. Apart from this, users will also get an AeroActive Cooler 3 accessory, Aero case, 30-watt ROG hypercharge charger, and a 3.5mm USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter in the retail box of Asus ROG Phone 3.
