Oppo A72 5G Officially Announced

Oppo:- Smartphone production company Oppo has officially launched Oppo A72 5G device in domestic market China. This phone was first seen online in various listings, now the company has officially launched it in China. However, the Oppo A72 5G is an upgraded version of the Oppo A72 4G version which was first launched in June. The new variant of Oppo A72 phone not only comes with 5G connectivity, but it also brings some advanced hardware features as compared to the 4G variant. If seen, the processor and refresh rate of the 5G variant is different from the 4G variant. Where, the Oppo A72 5G phone comes with a MediaTek Dimension 720 processor and a high 90Hz refresh rate, while the 4G variant has a Snapdragon 665 processor and 60Hz refresh rate, which is lesser than the 5G variant.

The only disappointment you get in the 5G variant is its battery capacity, where the 4G variant has a 5000mAh battery, the same 5G variant comes with a 4,040 battery capacity. If to talk about the highlights of this device, then the 5G variant comes with three rear camera setup and a punch-hole design. Oppo A72 5G has a 6.5-inch full HD + display with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution. In addition, it has an IPS LCD panel with a 20: 9 aspect ratio, 405 PPI pixel density, 90Hz display refresh rate, and 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also has a hole-punch design display, on which the selfie camera is placed.

 For speed and multitasking, the device is powered by an octa-core (2x Cortex-A76 & 6x Cortex-A55) processor and is equipped with a MediaTek Dimension 720 5G chipset. While it has Mali-G57 MC3 GPU for graphics. This combination of hardware helps to boost the performance of the device better. As for the software, the device runs on the ColorOS 7.2 operating system based on the latest version Android 10 and is paired with a single variant of 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage option. Also, the SDCard storage expansion support has been given in it.

Camera Features of Oppo A72 5G:-

For photography, this device has a triple rear camera setup on the back panel, which is arranged in a square module. The rear camera setup includes a 16-megapixel primary camera equipped with a PDAF feature. In addition, it has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, with 109 field-of-view. And it has a 2-megapixel depth camera.

 Apart from this, the rear camera setup comes with inbuilt features like digital zoom, autoflash, face detection, and touch to focus. On the other hand, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera on a hole-punch display.

For long-term battery backup, this device has a 4,040mAh power of the battery with 18-watt fast charging support. While the 4G variant of this device was launched with a 5000mAh battery, which has more battery capacity than the 5G variant. Apart from this, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for safety. 

 In terms of connectivity, it has 4G, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and many more. Whereas, fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, proximity, and compass are some of the sensor features provided in it. Finally, the device is 7.9 mm thick and weighs 175 grams.

The company has launched this device in a single variant option in China of 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage option, which has been priced in China at CNY 1,899 (approx INR 20,200). This device comes in three color options such as neon, oxygen violet, and simple black color. The official sale of this device will begin on July 31, and it is now available for pre-booking on the official Oppo China website.
