  • Honor has launched two new tablets Honor Viewpad 6 and Viewpad X6 in China. These tablets have been made available in two WIFI & LTE variants with different storage options.
  • Both these tablets are powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710A processor and are equipped with a huge 5000mAh battery. In addition, the specifications of both tablets are mostly the same except for their dimensions and screen resolution.
  • The Honor ViewPad 6 starts at Yuan 1,299 (INR 14,000), while the Viewpad X6 starts at Yuan 1,099 (INR 11,900) in China. The Viewpad 6 variant comes in Mint Green and Starry Sky Gray color options, while the Viewpad X6 comes in the Mint Green color option. The Viewpad 6 sale will go starting July 28, while the Viewpad X6 will be made available in the next month.

Honor ViewPad 6- X6 Tablets

Honor:- Huawei sub-brand company Honor has officially launched its two new Android tablets Honor Viewpad 6 and Viewpad X6 in China. Both tablets have been launched with different storage options and are packed with HiSilicon Kirin 710A processor. Both these tablets are equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel selfie camera. Also, both the devices come in WiFi and LTE variants and it has a 5100mAh battery. If seen, the specifications of these devices are mostly the same except for their dimensions and display resolutions.

 However, the Honor ViewPad 6 starts at Yuan 1,299, while the Viewpad X6 comes with a starting price of 1,099 Yuan in China. The official sale of Honor VeiwPad 6 will start from July 28, while the Honor VeiwPad X6 will be made available in August. However, the company has not given any information about the launch of these devices in India and other countries. Let's know about the specifications of these tablets.

Specifications of Honor ViewPad 6:-

Honor ViewPad 6 comes with a 10.1-inch full HD IPS display and 1,200 x`1,920 pixel resolution, which has an 80.6 percent screen-to-body ratio. For performance, this tablet is powered by an octa-core processor and comes equipped with a HiSilicon Kirin 710A chipset. In addition, it has a Mali G51 GPU for graphics, which helps it perform faster when playing games.

 As for the software, Honor ViewPad 6 runs on Magic UI 3.1 ROM based on the latest version Android 10 and is packed with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage options. Also, to store important bulk data in the device, the company has given storage expansion support in it of up to 512 GB via a dedicated SD card slot.

Camera Features and Battery of ViewPad 6:-

For photography, the Honor ViewPad 6 is equipped with a single rear and front camera setup, which has a 5-megapixel sensor on the rear camera, with support for 1080 pixel video recording. However, the rear camera does not have optical image stabilization feature. Apart from this, it has a 2-megapixel sensor for the selfie camera, which is equipped with HD video calling support.

 For long battery backup, it is equipped with a 5,100mAh power of the battery, which claims to provide up to 32 hours of talk time and 6000 hours of idle time. Apart from all these specifications, the company has provided special features such as children's mode, E-book mode, and Eye-protection mode. The LTE version of Honor ViewPad 6 comes with only one Nano SIM-card support. In terms of connectivity, it has 4G (LTE variants), Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band WiFi, GPS, and USB Type-C port. While For the sensor, it includes a Fingerprint sensor, Beidou, Ambient light sensor, Gravity, and Glonass sensor.

If to talk about the specifications of Honor Viewpad X6, then it mostly has the same features as the Viewpad 6 version, but with a minor tweak. Honor ViewPad X6 features a 9.7 -inch full HD IPS display with 1,280 x`8,00 pixel resolution, which has a 75 percent screen-to-body ratio. While for performance, this tablet is also powered by the same an octa-core processor and comes equipped with a HiSilicon Kirin 710A chipset. In addition, it has a Mali G51 GPU for graphics, which helps it perform faster when playing games.

Price, Availability, & Storage of ViewPad 6 & ViewPad X6:-

The company has launched  WiFi and LTE variants of Honor Viewpad 6 and Viewpad X6 devices in China with different storage options. Where Honor ViewPad 6 Wi-Fi variants have been made available in three storage options including 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and the price of this variant is CNY 1,299 (about Rs 14,000). While the second variant comes in 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, which is priced at CNY1,399 (about 15,100) in China. And the top and third variant comes in 4GB RAM + 128GB storage option at the price of CNY 1,699 (Near Rs 18,300) in China.

 On the other hand, LTE variant of Viewpad 6 in China has been made available in two storage options, including 4GB RAM + 64GB storage priced at CNY 1,599 (about Rs 17,200). While the second variant comes in 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, which costs CNY 1,899 (roughly Rs. 20,500) in China.

In addition, the Wi-Fi variant of Honor Viewpad X6 has been made available in two storage variants, including 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, which has been cost respectively at CNY 1,099 and CNY 1,199 in China, ( INR 11,900 + INR 12,900 ). While the LTE variant of the Viewpad X6 has been made available in a single storage option of the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage that is priced at CNY 1,199 (INR 12,900) in China.

 In addition, Honor ViewPad 6 has been launched in Mint Green and Starry Sky Gray color options. While Viewpad X6 comes in the Mint Green color option. Honor Viewpad 6 and Viewpad X6 are currently listed for pre-booking in China. The sale of Honor Viewpad 6 will start from July 28, while Viewpad X6 will be made available for purchase in the month of August in China. However, these tablets are currently available only in China and the company has not provided any information about the launch and price of these tablets in other countries including India.
