Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 India Launch

Redmi:- Smartphone production company Xiaomi has officially launched its affordable mid-range device Redmi Note 9 in India through an online event, which is the third phone of the Redmi Note 9 series. The Redmi Note 9 line up includes Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro, and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max devices. However, the company launched the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max devices in India in March this year. Now the company has brought the basic version Redmi Note 9 device of this series for Indian users, which has completed the Redmi Note 9 line up in India after the launch. Redmi Note 9 has been introduced as the successor to the Redmi Note 8 device, which was launched in India last year. Earlier, the Redmi Note 8 series was very successful in the Indian market, so the company is also expecting the same kind of response from Indian users for the Redmi Note 9.

 The Indian version of the Redmi Note 9 device comes with more RAM options than its global version. It has almost the same design structure as the Note 9 Pro and Pro Max. The main highlight of Redmi Note 9 is its quad rear camera, rear fingerprint scanner, and MediaTek Helio G85 processor, which is the first phone in the world to come with this processor. The company has launched this device in three variant options, whose price starts at Rs 11,999 in India. The Redmi Note 9 will officially go on sale from July 24 on India's available websites such as Amazon, Mi Stores, Mi Home, and offline Mi Verified stores. The company has given a 6.53-inch full HD + dot display with 1080x2340 pixels resolution. The device also has an IPS LCD panel with a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio, 395 PPI pixel density, and 84.37% screen-to-body ratio. Apart from this, it has a punch-hole cut-out display, where the selfie camera is placed. To protect the display, the company has given a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device also has an anti-oil, anti-fingerprint, and a P2I water-repellent nano-coating.

 For speed and multitasking, the device is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core processor and comes equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, which is the world's first smartphone to come with this chipset processor. While it has Mali-G52 GPU for graphics, which is clocked up to 1000MHz.

 As for the software, the device runs on the latest version Android 10 O / S  based MIUI 11 ROM. In terms of storage, the company has introduced this device in three variant options, which is paired with up to 6 GB RAM and up to 128 GB inbuilt storage. In addition, to store significant bulk data in the device, the company has given support for storage expansion that can be expanded up to 512 GB via a dedicated SDcard slot.

Camera, Battery & Othe Features:-

For photography in the device, the company has provided a quad rear camera setup on its back panel which is kept in square shape. The quad rear camera setup features a 48-megapixel AI primary camera with f / 1.79 aperture, an 8-megapixel f / 2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera with 118-degree field-of-view. In addition, there is a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth camera which is supported by an LED flash. Rear cameras also have the ability to record 1080p video at 30FPS. Whereas in the front panel consists of a 13-megapixel AI front camera for selfie and video calling, which is placed in a punch-hole cut-out display. The selfie camera can also record video at 1080p at 30fps.

 For longer battery backup, it has a 5,020mAh power of massive battery with 22.5W fast charging and 9W reverse charging support. The battery is rated to last up to 2 days after a full charge. Apart from this, the Redmi Note 9 also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock feature.

 In terms of connectivity, this phone includes 4G LTE, dual SIM support, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio jack, infrared (IR) blaster, GPS, A-GPS support. While the sensor features include G-sensor, gyroscope, L-sensor, P-sensor, and e-compass. The Redmi Note 9 measures 161.48 x 76.7 x 8.75 mm in dimensions and weighs 200 grams.

The company has launched three variants of Redmi Note 9 in India. The base variant comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and the price of this variant in India is Rs 11,999. The second variant comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which costs Rs 13,499 in India. While the third and top variant comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage at a price of Rs 14,999. 

 The Redmi Note 9 comes in three color options like Aqua Green, Pebble Gray, and Arctic White. The official sale of this device will start at 12 noon on July 24 via Amazon India, Mi India Store, Mi Home, and offline stores.
