  • Pre-booking for the OnePlus Nord phone will begin on July 15, and it will be available on Amazon India for pre-booking. OnePlus Nord:- Smartphone production company One Plus recently had announced that it would launch its upcoming new affordable smartphone production line in the markets of India and Europe first and then release it for other countries. Now, a few days ago, the company has officially announced that it will launch its first phone "One Plus Nord" of this mid-range series in India on 21 July. The company will launch this device through AR online launch event on July 21 at 7.30 pm. The company has given this information through its official Instagram and Twitter accounts.

 However, the major specifications of this device have already surfaced online. In addition, a special micro-page has been created for the One Plus Nord on the Amazon website, where some images of the device have been shared, which clearly shows the specifications of the device. The One Plus Nord has already been confirmed to be packed with AMOLED display, optical image stabilization for the camera, and Snapdragon 765G processor.

Renderers unveiled the design:-

Now, a render of One Plus Nord has surfaced online, which reveals the design of the device. The render has been revealed by the well-known tipster Evan Blass on Patron. This render shows the design of this device from the front and back. If seen, the design of this device is very similar to the Realme X50 Pro device. Renders also reveal that the device will feature a bullet-shaped punch-hole on the upper-left corner on the front display, where the combination of dual selfie camera will be placed. Furthermore, this device looks like it will have a slim bezels.

 While its back design is revealed that it will have a quad rear camera setup, which will be vertically arranged in the upper-left corner of the back panel along with dual LED-flash. Apart from this, it will get the OnePlus logo and the glass finish on the rear. The device has appeared in black in these renders, but we can also expect other colors at the launch event. In addition, there is a volume rocker button on the left side, while the alert slider and power button are seen placed on the right side of the device. The design of the OnePlus Nord in the render is similar to the design mentioned in the Amazon Teaser and OnePlus community video. Also, there is no physical fingerprint sensor in it, and it is expected to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

( Expected) Specifications of OnePlus Nord:-

The OnePlus Nord can feature a 6.44-inch Full HD + AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution. Also, it is reported to come with a punch-hole display that will be equipped with a 20: 9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, and 408 PPI pixel density. Apart from this, it is also being said that it can be provided with Corning Gorilla Glass Protection for display and fingerprint sensor for security. However, it has not been confirmed whether it will come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor or will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Processor & Sofware:-

In addition, the company has confirmed in its last tweet that the device will be powered by an octa-core processor and will be equipped with Snapdragon 765G 5G chipset. The device will also have an Adreno 620 GPU for graphics. This combination of hardware helps to boost device performance faster and easier. OnePlus Nord will run on Oxygen-10 custom ROM based on the latest version Android 10 O / S.


 OnePlus Nord is rumored to come in two variant options, with 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option. Previous image leaks have shown that both variants will have LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.0 storage support. This device is also expected to come without SDCard storage expansion support.

Camera, Battery & Other Features:-

For photography, the OnePlus Nord is rumored to have a quad rear camera setup, which will include a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary camera with optical image stabilization and electronic image stabilization features (OIS, EIS). Whereas for selfie and video calling, it is confirmed that it will have a dual selfie camera which will be a 32-megapixel primary and 8- megapixel wide-angle camera. This selfie camera has been confirmed by the company through its teaser post on Twitter.

 The phone can be packed with a 4,300mAh power of battery with 30-watt fast charging support. However, the battery and fast charging support have not been confirmed yet. In terms of connectivity, it will be given features such as 5G, Wi-Fi 2X2 MIMO, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm, audio jack.

AR Launch Event:-

OnePlus company has recently confirmed that it will launch the OnePlus Nord device in India on 21 July. The device is to be launched through an AR launch event, which will be hosted by the company. Users who want to watch the OnePlus Nord launch event online or are curious about it must purchase this launch event. The company will send a special invitation to interested users to be part of this online program. The sale for the AR launch event will start from 12 noon on July 11 and will be available to buy for just Rs 99.

The company was announced the launch date of the OnePlus Nord device in India in its last Twitter post. But the company has not given any information about the price of this device. It is being expected that the price of the OnePlus Nord device will be less than Rs 26,000 in India. The device will be available in three color options such as Nordic White, Arctic Blue, and Amber Red. The pre-order for OnePlus Nord will start on the e-commerce website Amazon India from July 15. To book this phone, users will have to pay a token price of Rs 500.
