  • Vivo has officially launched two phones Vivo X50 and X50 Pro devices of  Vivo X50 series in India. Where Vivo X50 comes with 4G connectivity and two variant options, the same X50 Pro has 5G connectivity and comes in a single variant option.
  • Both the Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro devices are equipped with the same 6.59-inch hole-punch display and in-display fingerprint sensor. The Vivo X50 has a flat display panel, while the Pro version comes with a 3D curved display panel. The Vivo X50 is powered by the Snapdragon 730 processor, while the X50 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 765G processor. The Vivo X50 Pro comes with gimbal camera technology, while the Vivo X50 variant lacks this technology.
  • The initial price of Vivo X50 starts at Rs 34,990, while the Vivo X50 Pro in India costs Rs 49,990. Both these devices will be available in two color options and it will go on sale from July 24. However, pre-booking for these devices has started from today via online or offline stores. 


VIVO X50 Series Launched in India

VIVO:- Smartphone production company VIVO on Thursday officially has launched its flagship VIVO X50 series in India through an online event. Under this series, the company has introduced two VIVO X50 and VIVO X50 Pro devices in India and it has been launched under the premium segment. Previously, there were many discussions going about the launch of the VIVO X50 series in India and Users have been waiting for this phone for a long time. Although VIVO X50 Series was already made its debut in China last month, now the company has brought it to Indian users. If to talk about the key features of these devices, then both phones come with a punch-hole display, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a Snapdragon 765G processor.

The highlight of this series is its camera, in which the X50 Pro version is equipped with gimbal camera technology, which helps to stabilize the frame to capture ultra-stable images and videos. The VIVO X50 comes in two variant options, while the VIVO X50 Pro has been launched in India in a single variant option. Official sales for these devices will begin on July 24 and will be available to purchase via online and offline stores. Specifications of VIVO X50:-

VIVO X50 comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Display and a 1080x2376 pixel resolution. Apart from this, it has a punch-hole AMOLED display panel, which is equipped with a 90Hz refresh rate, 19.8:9 aspect ratio, a 398 PPI Pixel density, and HDR 10+ feature. The Vivo X50 comes with a flat display panel, that has a 180Hz touch response rate.  VIVO X50 has 4G connectivity, dual-sim support, and given an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.

For speed and multitasking, the Vivo X50 is powered by the Octa-core 2.2 GHz processor and equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset. While it has an Adreno 618 GPU for Graphics, which helps boost the device's performance. As for the software, the Vivo X50 device is run on the latest version Android 10 based on the Funtouch OS 10.5 ROM, and coupled with 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and two 128 + 256 GB UFS 2.0 storage variant options, Without storage expansion support.

Camera & Battery of VIVO X50:-

For Photography, Vivo X50 device has given quad rear camera setup in the back panel including a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 custom sensor camera with f / 1.6 aperture, which is equipped with the Four-Axis OIS feature. Also in the setup is a 13-megapixel portrait camera with f / 2.48 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f / 2.2 aperture that has a 120-degree field of view (FoV), and a 5-megapixel macro camera with f / 2.48 aperture. 

The quad rear camera setup also supports 20x digital zoom. While the Vivo X50 has a 32-megapixel front camera with f / 2.48 aperture for selfie and video calling. Vivo X50 also has in-built features such as Super night HDR, an Instant Vlog, Night vision, an Astro mode, and Motion AF tracking.

For long-life battery backup, the Vivo X50 has a 4200mAh battery with a 33-watt Flash Charge fast charging feature. In terms of connectivity, it has features such as 4G, NFC, WIFI 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, SA & NSA, dual-mode, and Type-C Port. Further,  it has a punch-hole AMOLED display panel, which is equipped with a 90Hz refresh rate, 19.8:9 aspect ratio, a 398 PPI Pixel density, and HDR 10+ support. The Vivo X50 Pro comes with a 3D Curved display panel, that has a 180Hz touch response rate. Also, the Pro variant comes with dual-sim support and has 5G connectivity instead of 4G support. While for security, it has given an in-display fingerprint scanner.

For speed and multitasking, the Vivo X50 Pro is powered by the Octa-core 2.4 GHz processor and equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. While it has an Adreno 620 GPU for Graphics, this hardware combination helps to play big games without any hanging problems. As for the software, the Vivo X50 Pro device is run on the latest version Android 10 based on the Funtouch OS 10.5 ROM, and coupled with the 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and  256 GB UFS 2.0 only storage variant that doesn't support SDcard storage expansion.

Price & Availability of VIVO X50 and X50 Pro:-

Vivo X50 has been launched in India in two variant options, in which the first variant comes in 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage and the price of this variant is 34,990 in India. While the price of the other 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variants has been kept at Rs 37,990 in the country. The Vivo X50 will be available in Frost Blue and Glaze Black color options. On the other hand, Vivo X50 Pro top variant has been launched in India in only one variant option, which has 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage and the tag price of this variant in India is Rs 49,990. The top only variant will be available in Alpha Gray color. 

Vivo has also launched TWS earbuds at the same event, which is priced at Rs 5,990 in India. However, official sales of both the devices will start from July 24. While pre-booking for these devices has been started from today through a host online and offline stores including Reliance Digital, Croma, Flipkart, Amazon, Vijay Sales, Paytm Mall, Tata Clique and Vivo Store. Apart from all this, the company is also offering special cashback offers to users on the purchase of these devices under certain terms and conditions.
