OnePlus Nord:- Smartphone production company OnePlus has finally launched its long-awaited phone OnePlus Nord in India on Tuesday through the AR online launch event. However, the OnePlus Nord was spotted online last month and a teaser was also surfaced, which revealed some of its design and specifications. The company has now officially launched this device in India along with Europe, As the company said in its statement last month that this device will first be launched in India and Europe. This is the first phone from the company's "affordable smartphone production line", which is launched under the mid-range segment.

 The special thing about OnePlus Nord is that it has been launched in three variant options with 5G connectivity. Also, the device claims to offer a flagship camera experience. Apart from this, the device comes with a 48 MP quad rear camera setup, Snapdragon 765G processor, and hole-punch display design. Apart from the smartphone, the company has also introduced its first earbud "OnePlus Wireless Earbuds" in India, priced at Rs 4,990. Some of the top variants of the OnePlus Nord device will go on sale from August 4 on Amazon and the OnePlus website, while other variants will be made available in September. Specifications of OnePlus Nord:-

The OnePlus Nord features a 6.44-inch Fluid AMOLED display with 1080x2400 pixel resolution. Also, the front display has a 20: 9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, 409 PPI pixel density, and 86.29% screen to body ratio. The OnePlus Nord comes with a punch-hole display, where two selfie cameras are placed. For security, the device has been given Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection for the display and comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The display is also equipped with special modes such as night mode, reading mode, and video enhancer.

Software & Performance:-

In terms of performance, the device is powered by a 2.4GHz octa-core Kryo processor and is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset, while it has an Adreno 620 GPU for graphics. This hardware combination helps boost device performance.

 In addition, the device runs on Oxygen OS custom ROM based on the latest version Android 10 and is paired with up to 12 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB UFS 2.1 storage. This device is launched in three variant options, including 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage options. While the company has not provided SD card storage expansion support in this device.

Camera Features of OnePlus Nord:-

For photography, it has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel f / 1.75 primary camera with a Sony IMX8686 sensor. The main camera also has features like Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). In addition, it has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera that gives 119 field-of-view. Further, it has a 5-megapixel f / 2.4 depth camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

OnePlus Nord & OnePlus Buds

 While it has two front cameras for selfie and video calling, one with a 32-megapixel Sony IMX616 camera and the other camera is 8-megapixel. Selfie cameras provide 105 field-of-view (FoV) and it is located at the punch-hole display cut-out. The OnePlus Nord comes with pre-installed camera features such as ultra-shot HDR, nightscape, digital zoom, auto flash, iOS control, and touch to focus mode. The phone is also capable of recording 4K video.

Battery & Other Features:-

For longer battery backup, it has a 4,115mAh battery with 30W Warp Charge Fast Charging Technology support, which can charge up to 70% of the device in just 22 minutes. While it has a USB Type-C port for charging the device. In addition, the OnePlus Nord comes with a super-liner single speaker, alert slider support, and noise cancellation support. 

 In terms of connectivity, it has 5G, 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C port. While sensor features include accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. Finally, it measures 158.3x73.3x8.2 mm in dimensions and 184 grams in weight.

Price & Availability of OnePlus Nord:-

OnePlus Nord has been launched in India in three variant options, which first comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variants and the price of this variant has been fixed at Rs 24,999. While the second variant comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, the price in the Indian market has been kept at Rs 27,999. The top variant comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option, which has been priced at Rs 29,999 in India. OnePlus Nord has been made available in two color options, in which the base 6GB + 64GB variant will be available in Gray Onyx color, while the 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB variants will be available in both Blue Marble and Gray Onyx color options.

 The official sale of this device will start in India from August 4, with only 8GB + 12GB RAM variants being made available for purchase, while its 6GB RAM variant will be made available in September. The OnePlus Nord will be available for purchase in India through Amazon and OnePlus.in websites. Pre-booking for this device will start from July 28 through Amazon India. Apart from all this, the company is also giving some offers to the users on the purchase of this device under the terms and conditions of the company.
