Realme 6i India Launch

Realme:- Smartphone production company Realme has today launched its affordable mid-range device Realme 6i in India. It is the third and cheapest budget-friendly smartphone of the company's Realme 6 series. Although Realme 6i was first debuted in Myanmar in the month of March this year, now the company has brought it to Indian users, which is different from the Myanmar version. However, it is a rebranded version of the Realme 6s phone, which has recently been launched in Europe. The design and specifications of this phone are quite similar to the Realme 6 phone. 

 The highlight of this device is that it comes with a quad rear camera setup, a punch-hole display, a high refresh rate display, an octa-core processor, and a 4,300mAh battery. In addition, the phone has been launched in two variants in India along with two color options. Realme 6i will go on sale in India from July 31 and it will be available for purchase through Flipkart and Realme website in India. Specifications of Realme 6i:-

Realme 6i has a 6.5-inch full HD + display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. It also has an IPS LCD panel equipped with a 90Hz refresh rate, 20: 9 aspect ratio, 405 PPI pixel density, and 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device also comes with a punch-hole display on which the selfie camera is located at the top-left corner. In addition, in terms of security, it has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Performance & Software:-

For the performance of the device, it is powered by a 2.05GHz octa-core processor and comes equipped with a MediaTek MT6785 Helio G90T chipset. Whereas it has a Mali-G76 MC4 GPU for graphics, which makes the performance of the device very smooth. Realme 6i runs on the latest version Android 10 based Realme UI ROM and is paired with up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB UFS 2.1 storage.

 Realme 6i comes in two variants in India which includes 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 64GB storage options. Whereas, it has storage expansion support to store bulk data in the device, in which users can increase the internal storage capacity up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

Camera Features of Realme 6i:-

For photography, the phone has a quad rear camera setup, which is arranged in tablet-shaped on the back panel. The rear camera setup includes a 48-megapixel f / 1.8 aperture primary camera, which offers 10x digital zoom and 79 percent field of view. Also, there is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f / 2.3 aperture, which offers 119 field-of-view. In addition, the setup features a 2-megapixel macro camera with f / 2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth camera with f / 2.4 aperture. The quad rear camera is also equipped with LED flash, HDR and panorama features.

 On the other hand, there is a 16-megapixel front camera with f / 2.0 aperture for selfie and video calling, mounted on a punch-hole cut-out display. The selfie camera is also equipped with AI Beauty, HDR, Portrait Mode, Bokeh Effect Control, and Array Enhancing Features.

Battery & Other Features:-

For longer battery backup, the dual-sim supported Realme 6i device is equipped with a 4,300mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging, which can charge 100% of the battery in just 55 minutes. But in the box of this phone, the charger is provided with 20W charging support. The device has Dolby Atmos speakers to experience good music and has given a 3.5 mm audio jack for listening to music.

 In terms of connectivity, it includes 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C port. While for the sensor, it has a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, magnetic induction sensor, gyroscope, and accelerometer sensor. Finally, the device measures 162.1 x 74.8 x 8.9 mm in dimensions and 191 grams in weight.

Price & Availability:-

The company has launched Realme 6i in India in two variant options, which include 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variants and the price of this variant in India has been fixed at Rs 12,999. Whereas, the second variant comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which costs Rs 14,999 in India. Realme 6i has been made available in two color options like Eclipse Black and Lunar White colors. 

 The official sale of this device in India will start at 12 noon on July 31 and it will be made available for purchase on Flipkart and Realme India website from July 31. Apart from this, it is being expected that Realme 6i can give a tough competition to the recently launched phone Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 in India.
