Realme C12 & Realme C15 Launched in India

Realme:- Smartphone production company Realme has finally launched two new entry-level smartphones Realme C12 and Realme C15 of its Realme C series in India on Tuesday. Now, these two new devices have joined the Realme C11 phone of the Realme-C series. However, Realme C12 has been introduced in the market as an upgrade version of Realme C11, which was launched in July this year. Both devices come with a large 6000mAh battery and are equipped with a MediaTek Helio G35 processor. 

In addition, both devices feature a water-drop style notch display, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a similar design structure. However, Realme C12 is made available in a single storage variant option, while Realme C15 comes in two storage variants in the Indian market. Both these new devices of the Realme C series will be available in two different color options and will be available for purchase through Flipkart, Realme.com as well as online or offline stores. Specifications of Realme C12:- 

Realme C12 has a 6.5-inch FHD + IPS LCD display with 720x1600 pixel resolution, that has a 20: 9 aspect ratio, 270 PPI pixel density, and 88.7 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device also has a water-drop notch display for the selfie, which is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass Protection. While the company has given a fingerprint sensor on the back panel of Realme C12.

In the performance department, this device is powered by an octa-core 2.GHz processor and is equipped with a Mediatek Helio G35 chipset. While it has a PowerVR GE8320 GPU for graphics, which accelerates the performance of the device. As for the software, the device runs on the custom Realme UI ROM based on the latest version Android 10 operating system and is paired with a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage in the only version. Whereas, to store significant bulk data in the device, the company has provided storage expansion support through a dedicated micro SD card slot up to 256GB.






In terms of photography, this device is equipped with a triple rear camera setup on the back panel, which includes a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f / 2.2 lens, which has Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature and supports up to 4x digital zoom. Apart from this, the setup has a 2 + 2 megapixel micro and depth camera with an f / 2.4 lens. The rear camera setup also comes with inbuilt camera features such as HDR, slow-motion, nightscape, portrait mode, beauty mode, time-lapse, and more. On the other hand, it has a 5-megapixel selfie camera with an f / 2.0 lens, which is placed in the water-drop notch display.

For long battery backup, this device is loaded with a massive 6000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging. The company has also given a super power-saving mode in this phone which can give up to 46 hours of talk time, 60 hours of music playback, and 57 days of standby time on a single charge. Also, it can provide 2 to 3 hours of voice calling at just five percent battery power.

In terms of connectivity, it has features like 4G, LTE, Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi 802, GPS, Micro USB 2.0 port, and 3.5mm audio jack. While the sensor features include a light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and rear fingerprint sensor. Finally, it measures 164.5x75.9x9.8 mm in dimensions and 209 grams in weights.

Specifications of Realme C15:-

Realme C15 has a 6.5 inch HD   mini drop display with 1600x720 pixel resolution. It also has an IPS LCD display panel equipped with a 60Hz refresh rate, 20: 9 aspect ratio, 269 PPI pixel density, and 88.7 percent screen-to-body ratio. Apart from this, this device comes with a water-drop notch display, on which the selfie camera is placed. In terms of safety, the display of this device has also equipped with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

 In terms of performance, the Realme C15 is powered by an octa-core, 2.3 GHz, Cortex A53 processor, and is equipped with a Mediatek Helio G35 chipset. While it has given a PowerVR GE8320 GPU for graphics. This hardware combination helps to boost the performance of the device better. As for the software, this device runs on the Realme UI ROM based on the latest version Android 10 OS and added up to 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of storage. However, the company has brought this device to India in two storage variants of 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage option. In addition, to increase the internal storage capacity of this device, the company has provided storage expansion support of up to 256GB via micro SD card slot in it.

 Apart from this, Realme C15 comes with a three-card slot, in which two slots are given for the SIM card, while the third slot is given for a micro SD card. This device also comes with a fingerprint scanner which is given on the rear panel.

For photography, Realme C15 is equipped with a quad rear camera setup on the back panel which includes a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 lens, which supports up to 4x digital zoom. In addition, the setup includes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 lens. Lastly, there is a 2-megapixel micro and a 2-megapixel depth camera with an f / 2.4 lens. In addition, the rear camera setup comes with inbuilt camera features such as 4 x digital zoom, autoflash, face detection, and touch to focus feature. While in the front panel has an 8-megapixel of the camera for selfie and video calling, which is placed on the water-drop notch display.

 For long battery backup, the Realme C15 comes packed with a massive 6000mAh power of battery that supports 18W Quick Fast Charging. The Realme C15 also has a super power-saving mode, which can provide a good standby time and provide more than two days of battery backup after a full charge. 

 In terms of connectivity, it includes 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5, GPS A-GPS, Glonass, Micro USB port, and 3.5mm audio jack. While the sensor features include a light sensor, proximity sensor, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and accelerometer. Price & Availability of Realme C12 & Realme C15:-

The company has launched Realme C12 phone in single storage variants of only 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and the price of this variant in India has been fixed at Rs 8,999. While Realme C15 has been made available in two storage variants which include 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, which is priced at Rs 9,999. While the second variant comes in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option, which is priced at Rs 10,999 in India. 

 Both devices come in Power Blue and Power Silver color options. However, the first official sale of Realme C12 will start on August 24, while the first sale of Realme C15 will be in the country on August 27. Realme C12 and Realme C15 will be made available for purchase in India through Flipkart, Amazon, Realme.com as well as online and offline stores.
